2017年4月，曼省雇主担保移民将重启，每年1500个家庭的定额将给很多申请人带来机会。
2016至2022年，曼省预计新设及补充替换的工作岗位累计167,700个，也就是平均每年将有24000左右个工作机会，其中25%（近6000个职位/年）将给到新移民。

政策背景
2003年至2010年之间，曼省迎来过大量的技术工人移民，基本局限于大车司机、汽车修理、电焊等专业上，也就是目前所说的雇主担保项目。直到2008年底金融危机影响到加拿大的经济发展，政府也希望更多的工作机会留给当地的移民和公民，同时外国技术工人也出现了由于语言问题产生的安全隐患，时任曼省执政党新民主党也考虑到其他多方面原因，所以暂时停止了这个项目。目前保守党在曼省执政后，开始将老牌公司臃肿的机构裁员15%，力度之大前所未有，快速清理省提名积压申请，然后放宽雇主招收外国技术工人的尺度。
 
申请条件
年龄：30-45岁
学历：大专以上学历
英语水平：CLB 6 (相当于G雅思5.5 分) 以上
相关工作经验：3-5年相关行业经验、中级以上技术等级证书、有海外学历或工作经验等。
