　　答：签证是由出生地，而不是由国籍决定的。香港、澳门和台湾是与中国大陆分开计算的。如果排期出现，中国大陆投资人是唯一会受到排期影响的。港澳台或者来自其他国家的投资者都不会受到影响。不过，如果投资者在中国大陆出生，并且获得了香港居民身份，也会受到影响。

　　Question: I have been reading about the EB-5 visas running out. My family moved to Guangzhou, but I was born in Hong Kong. Will I still be affected?

　　Answer: Visa availability and changeability is determined by country of birth, not country of citizenship. Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan are charged separately from China. Chinese investors from mainland China are the only ones who will be affected by retrogression – if it occurs. Investors who were born in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan would not be affected by the retrogression. However, investors who were born in mainland China and obtained Hong Kong residency later would be affected.
